Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
Limits of solid solutions of even long-chain monoclinic n-paraffins were determined using the X-ray powder diffraction method. Those paraffins represent the principal compounds of the natural paraffin series hydrocarbons with the general formula CnH2n+2. Isomorphic relations in binary paraffin systems was studied using C28C30 system as example. Isomorphic substitutions in monoclinic as well as triclinic paraffins are limited: less than 8 % for triclinic and not more than 1 % for monoclinic solid solutions. Character of dependence orthorhombic c parameter vs. compositions gives evidence of polarity of compositional deformations.
