Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
The experiments on finding-out of opportunity of Co-tourmaline growth on a seed in a borochloride solutions are carried out at temperature 450 - 500 and pressure 100 P with use as charge of the tourmaline and the mixture of quartz and corundum. Tourmaline growth is observed on the {+001} and {1011} faces only from quartz-corundum charge and accompanied by mass crystallization of the smallest spontaneous crystals. Growth rates of specified above faces do not exceed of 0,025 and 0,018 mm/day, accordingly. It, in view of data on rather low tourmaline solubility, and also its crystallization only at use quartz-corundum charge, testifies about very narrow zone of metastability and growth of crystals on a seed under the scheme of synthesis, instead of recrystallization.
