Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
A new approach to the crystal chemistry of natrolite and thomsonite groups zeolites is based on the separation of the real local components in a statistically averaged structure. Extraframework water-cation structure units (ESU) are separated. New varieties of Na,Ca-containing fibrous zeolites are distinguished, and their rational names are proposed. The correlation between the crystallization sequence of the minerals and their normalized volumes is established.
