Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
Mineral peculiarities of the unique eclogite O-160 were studied. Microstructures of clinopyroxene from the different parts of xenolith and the exsolution reactions allow these reactions to be associated with certain stages of evolution of mantle substance. The results of the study of mineral relationships, compositions, character of exsolution structures (the lamellae of garnet, corundum, kyanitt, anortite in one part of the sample and the lamellae of garnet, anortite in another part) indicate the different stages of rock cooling and clinopyroxene breakdown during decompression. Ca-Tschermak minal (Ca-Eskola rarely) is of first importance in the formation of the above-listed lamellae. Disorder of clinopyroxene matrix structure including the cryptocrystalline one, which is against the lamellae, is probably related to the complicated mechanism of clinopyroxene breakdown.
