Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
In 2016 the Fe-dominant analog of owensite with common crystal chemical formula (Ba3.91 K2.09)(Fe0.97□0.03)(Fe15.1Cu6.5□2.4)S27 was found in paralava embedded in pyrometamorphic rocks of the Hatrurim Complex, Israel. Paralava are mainly composed of gehlenite, wollastonite, fluorapatite, andradite, rankinite, celsian, kirschsteinite. The Fe-dominant analog of owensite is found in spherical sulfide aggregates consisting of pentlandite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, bartonite, rudashevskyite, djerfisherite, and mackinawite. The Fe-dominant analog of owensite belong to the djerfisherite group, it is cubic: Pm-3m, a = 10.3137(1) Å, V = 1097.09(3) Å3, Z = 1.
