Abstract - Summary
(short description):
The structure of the giant kimberlite pipe of Luele - the largest diamond deposit in Angola, and the results of testing its constituent rocks according to the data of exploration drilling are presented for the first time. It is assumed that the local concentrations of diamonds - \"ore nests\", appeared in the upper parts of the section of individual intrusive bodies within the diatreme, as a consequence of the effect of \"pumping\" their crystals with a magma melt saturated with volcanic gases.
