Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
Silicate-melt inclusions in clinopyroxenes from olivine foidites of the Vulture volcano (Italy) were studied. It was shown that hauyne rocks formation was related to silicate-carbonate-salt immiscibility on the high-temperature (>1225oC) stage of the melt crystallization and to subsequent separation of alkaline chloride-sulfate component.
