Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
Based on the termobarogeochemical studies of corundum (sapphires) of the Nezametnoye deposit (Primorsky Region, Russian Far East), peculiarities of distribution and formation of corundum deposits and manifestations in different rock complexes of the Sikhote-Alin, and literature data, it was established that syenitization as an alkalization process and presence of calk-aluminous strata of productive systems of lithospheric slabs are determinant for corundum formation.
