(short description):
The Bereznyakovskoe epithermal gold deposit is situated at the South Urals within the Birgildinsk-Tominsk ore area. The mineralization is hosted by D3-C1 tuffs and subvolcanic bodies of dacite and andesite composition as well as S1-2 limestones. Three stages of hypogene mineralization were identified: pyrite, polymetallic (with enargite, fahlore-telluride, and gold-telluride substages), and galena-sphalerite ones. The post-ore mineralization includes veinlets of quartz and carbonate. Fluid inclusion study supported by mineral geothermometry evidence early pyrite stage formed at 320-380, the polymetallic one from 280-300 to 170 and P 0,4-0,2 kbar, galena-sphalerite 220-185oC. The fluids were of moderate salinity 49 wt.%-eq. NaCl and evolved from NaCl dominant to ones enriched by Mg and Fe.
