For storage, analysis and structuring of long-term monitoring results the database on a state of stone monuments of Saint Petersburg was created. The structure, software and content of database enable the comprehensive view on mechanisms of stone destruction under antropogenic factor action, as well as the forecasting of state change of monuments. Such database is a sound starting point for the selection of most appropriate methods for restoration and conservation works , as well as for estimation of their efficiency. The base is intended for a wide range of the experts engaged in questions of urban environment and its effect on objects of a cultural heritage.
