Abstract - Summary (short description): | |
A study of a K2Co(SO4)2·6H2O − K2Ni(SO4)2·6H2O system had been conducted. Solubility isotherms in the temperature range of 20-60 ºС were measured. Processes of defect formation in the interface between K2Co(SO4)2·6H2O (layer) and K2Ni(SO4)2·6H2O (substrate) were studied by electron microprobe analysis and X-ray topography. It had been found, that inclusions and dislocations are formed in the interface providing misfit stresses relaxation. Nickel distribution in the layer is nonuniform, its concentration is reduced as the layer thickness increases, that is evidence of the substrate dissolution in the beginning stage of interaction between the crystal and the solution. A series of bicrystalline compositions had been grown. A dependence of transmission in UV range of the grown samples on the solution supersaturation was established. It is shown, that sample transmission in the UV range can be controlled by changing the growth conditions. |
