Batisite Na2BaTi2Si4O14 is a chain silicate of Na and Ba from a shcherbakovite group. Crystal structure of batisite from Inagli massif (Aldan, Russia) was refined to R1 = 0.032 in centrosymmetric space group Imma, a =8.0921(5), b = 10.4751(7), c = 13.9054(9) Å, V = 1178.70(13) Å3. The high-temperature research of batisite indicated a mineral stability until 950 °C with the following formation of fresnoite Ba2TiSi2O7O at the T=1000 °C.
