Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
New data are given for new iron meteorite Uakit (IIAB) from Buryatia. Kamacite is the main mineral of the meteorite (>98 vol.%). Minor and accessory minerals are represented by schreibersite (rabhdite), nickelphosphide, taenite, plessite (taenite + kamacite), cohenite, daubreelite, kalininite, troilite, carlsbergite, sphalerite, phase VN, cooper, awaruite-nickel, Ni-rich magnetite, pentlandite, heazlewoodite, Ni-rich goethite and other Fe-hydroxides (sometimes with Cl). Meteorite Uakit belongs to hexahedrites (IIAB) with tendency to the IIA subgroup. This meteorite is the first finding of natural VN phase, and the first finding of kalininite in meteorites.
