SCOPE of the Special Issue The aim of the
Special Issue entitled “An overview of mineral deposits in the
Urals” will be to bring to light the state of progress in knowledge of
metallogeny of the Uralian orogen, one of the World’s major metal producing
regions. This issue will be focused on reviewing major types of mineral deposits
of the Urals, i.e. VHMS, iron skarn, platinum, manganese, orogenic gold,
Cu-porphyry, etc., with a focus on their classification, distribution as well as
on genetic features of key mineral deposits.
All submitted papers must be
clearly written in excellent English and contain only original
work, which has not been published by
currently under review
for any other
journal or conference.
All papers will be peer-reviewed by independent reviewers.
