Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We would like to inform you that, based on the many requests from both session convenors and participants for giving more time for the abstract preparation, the IMA2010 Organising Committee, by restructuring the abstract evaluation process, added 3 more weeks for the participants to the abstract submission period. Thus, the new deadline is April 6.

You can find details on the Scientific Programme, including 14 themes grouping more than 80 sessions, as well as 6 pre-, mid- and  post-conference workshops, on the conference homepage:
http://www.ima2010.hu/?my_view=nice&p=sp0

The 12 plenary talks of IMA2010 will be delivered by: Peter BUSECK, Rod EWING (E5), Bill GRIFFIN, Frank HAWTHORNE (IMA Medalist), Bob HAZEN, Nigel KELLY (E5), Jonathan R. LLOYD, Mihбly P”SFAI (E5), Nita SAHAI (E5), Eva VALSAMI-JONES (E5), Glenn WAYCHUNAS (E5), Max WILKE (EMU Medalist). (E5: talks celebrating the 5th birthday of the ELEMENTS magazine.)

IMA2010 also offers 30 exciting field trips, on subsidised prices also for the accompanying persons, to ten countries of Central-SE Europe (http://www.ima2010.hu/?my_view=nice&p=ft0). The first come first served field trip registration closes on April 30.

Childcare and support for physically-challenged persons is also to be organised during IMA2010.

Please share these pieces of information within your national and scientific circles, with your colleagues who may also be interested.

With best regards, and looking forward to see you in Budapest,
