The European Mineralogical Union includes mineralogical societies from 27 coutries of Europe. The EMU Constituent Assembly took place in Strasbourg on April 12th, 1987. The Russian Mineralogical Society was affiliated with EMU on the EMU Council in Strasbourg on April 6th, 1993. EMU activities are given in the conferences list.
