Traditional and debatable problems
of crystallogenesis and adjacent fields in connection with
mineral formation will
be discussed.
The Conference is dedicated to
the century of Professor V.B. Tatarsky birthday (05.11.1907-23.02.1993), the outstanding Russian scientist who made significant contributions to
mineralogy, lithology, crystal optics and crystallography, and became a Honorary
member of the Russian Mineralogical Society in
1976.
The first conference "Crystallogenesis and Mineralogy" was
held in 2001 and was dedicated to the century of Professor G.G.
Laemmlein birthday, one of the founders of the modern
crystallogenesis.
